Adding New Picking Orders
A new picking order is entered at the New Picking Order form. The New
Picking Order form may be reached from the ribbon: Manage > Picking >
New Order option from the ribbon.
The New Picking Order form opens with the new order # already entered
if Automate Order Numbering for Picking orders is enabled in the Sys-
tem Options form/Orders tab.
To add a new picking order to the system:
1. The default site is automatically filled in by the system. If the multiple
sites feature has been enabled and you have the right to view and mod-
ify all sites, and the order is being filled for another site, click the drop-
down arrow in the Site field and select the Site from drop-down menu
list that appears.
2. If automate order numbering is enabled for picking orders, the order
number will be automatically placed in the Order # field. If order num-
bering is not automated, enter the order number in the Order # field.
3. The order date and due date default to today’s date. If you want to
change the order date, enter the new order date in the Order Date field.
