Inventory Counts

A main feature of ISRP is the physical and cycle counting of inventory.

When you use this feature, you are able to track the last time a physical or

cycle count was performed for a location or item. (When configured for

inventory cycle counting, the workstation application will keep track of

when it is time to perform the next physical and/or cycle counting of

inventory via the Batch Cycle Count Report.)

Note: Inventory data validation in the CE Client application depends

upon the data parameters set for sending inventory data in the Batch Por-

table Utility, Send Portable Data form. Please refer to

“Validation Data Set-

tings in the Batch Portable Utility” on page 68 and “Downloaded Data in the

CE Client Application” on page 77 for more information about inventory

data validation in the CE Client application.

Counting with

the Handheld

Device

To record physical inventory counts with the CE Client application, please

refer to the instructions below:

1. In the CE Client application, tap the Inventory button found in the

Main screen. The Inventory menu appears. Next, select Physical

Inventory.

2. The Inventory screen appears.
