tab ribbon options are displayed. Selecting a ribbon option will open an
application form.
If a selection in the ribbon appears to be grayed out, it means that the
option is not available or that the current user does not have access to this
feature.
Transaction Buttons
Many of the forms in the Inventory application contain buttons that per-
form a process. These buttons are called transaction buttons. An overview
of each transaction button, along with its description is found in the table
that follows. Use the table for your reference when working with the
Inventory workstation application.

Button Description Function
Add Add a new record, report, or query.
Browse Open a window to search the PC for a file or
location.
Cancel Cancel the last operation.
Close Closes the form that is currently open.
Delete Deletes the selected record.
