A dialog box appears that provides information on the compare pro-
cess. Review it; if you want to run an import compare report before
appending your data with the import file, select Ye s to continue. (If you
do not want to continue with the import compare process, select No to
close the dialog and exit the import compare process.)
3. The Import Specs Select dialog box appears. Select the import method
from the Import Export Specs field drop-down list that matches your
import file type.
• Comma Only (,): an ASCII (i.e., plain text) delimited file separated
(delimited) with commas only
• Quote Comma Quote (","): An ASCII (i.e., plain text) delimited
file that separates each field by commas, encloses text fields in
quotes, and places no quotes around numeric fields.
• Semicolon (;): an ASCII (i.e., plain text) delimited file separated by
semicolons
• Tab Delimited (""->): an ASCII (i.e., plain text) delimited file sep-
arated by tabs

“Import File Type Options” on page 228.
4. Click the Do It button; the Save Text File window appears.
